Reincarnation and Aliens The Earth School
Nothing fascinates me quite so much as reincarnation and all things applicable.
If you are already familiar with my writing and thought process, then you know that I am a meticulous thinker, analyzing every thing to death and always on the look out for new ways to approach old ideas.
Now, if we've heard the old/new age adage which proclaims earth as a school for developing souls, we've heard it a million times already. Granted. But sometimes when you've become saturated with an idea, or a label, you cease to think about what it really means. Similar to gravity. We all 'get' the idea, but no one is exactly sure of the whys and wherefores. So we agree to a common term, but that's about as far as our edification goes.
Whether or not we like it, death will come to us all. For something so inescapable, we do everything in our power to pretend like it doesn't exist. Even though we may know something intellectually, emotionally we shove anything we don't like under the mental carpet and blithely go our lackadaisical way.
As comforting as the label of reincarnation may be [giving us some meagre assurance that we won't be totally screwed], we're still somewhat fuzzy on the mechanics of death/rebirth and would rather leave the details to be dealt with when the dreadful time arrives. Which, honestly, is about the most asinine behavior I can think of.
For if there is anything that should concern us more than the preservation of our conscious awareness ... I can't think of what that something would be. I am 110% serious when I say this.
Even with the full-on albeit unpleasant realization that we have only a handful of decades to call our own, humans have this ridiculous tendency to obsess over such fleeting and transient concerns such as money, sex, appearance, status ad infinitude. And yet, the ONE major in-your-face obstacle we face as individuals AND a species is the one thing we prefer to overlook.
Or, if not overlook, we 'like' to hand off this issue to a higher power[s], God, Jesus, whomever. Our modus operandi is to wash our hands of the whole inconvenient mess and let Someone or something else assume responsibility for what should actually be our ultimate self-responsibility.
And that, of course, is virtually on the same par with those who accept certain things as inescapable fates, or discount the possibility of post-mortem survival period.
As both individuals and a species, I think we are out of our collective minds. The one major problem that should be first and foremost on the human list of *problems to be solved* is rather sadly relegated to superstition and apathy. Until man achieves the free transference of consciousness/immortality, we've got a sticky wicket on our hands and we need to do something about it. The sooner the better.
That's my opinion and I stand by it.
Alright then. Moving on from the mini-rant - as having stated the above I hope to have hammered home the importance of what I'm about to delve into: what may we expect to encounter/be subject to after death and what may we do about it?
It's one thing to get emotional and become all weepy-eyed at the notion of administering angels, reunions with loved ones, beings of light, soul teachers and guides and the usual list of suspects. It's quite another thing to take a hard look at the big picture [or that portion visible thereof] and begin putting the pieces together.
And the best way to assemble those pieces is by gathering all the common denominators together in one tidy pile with plenty of room on the table to add a few more should the need arise. Which it will, you can bet on it.
From NDEs to OBEs, from some of the most ancient systems of worship available for study, from the Sun [Ra] God of Egypt to modern day remote viewing, dreams, channelings, alien and contactee messaging, ad nauseum ... there is a great deal of talk about the human soul cycling, as it were, through multiple incarnations as a method used for ethical advancement.
Note the word *ethical*. Ding, ding, ding. Any bells going off here, folks? Every time we turn around someone is suggesting that the human soul is in the process of development. To become more loving, more aware, more selfless and less materialistic [which may be interpreted as become less *survival* driven].
All these chastisements and admonitions have one major common denominator and that is the development of ethical behavior.
Okay. The next question that should be asked is ... why the need? If we cease to exist once the body buys the farm, what is the point? Yet, if we DO continue to exist in some conscious, self-aware fashion, then where is this ethical behavior to be applied?
Just as it wouldn't make any sense to put a man through years of compulsory schooling regarding mathematics were he not to utilize it somewhere down the road, so it makes little to no sense for a soul to reincarnate, to develop a heightened awareness of ethics ... unless there was a NEED for such.
Like I said. It's dandy to feel all mystical and dewy-eyed at the thought of The City of Light/Heaven, so to speak. But to stop there is trivializing the entire process of what *appears* to be an extremely well-thought out and massively complicated project.
Somebody[s] has attached a tremendous amount of effort into rehabilitating a conscious, self-aware and intelligent species [homo sapiens]. Somebody appears to be fairly determined to help/push our species, to guide our development and *tame* or overcome man's primitive animal instincts.
Taking the above into account, what can we logically deduce about our mysterious teachers/guides/angels/Somebody[s]?
1) Ethics is highly prized. As above, so below kinda thing. You cannot teach someone what is unknown to you, therefore, it is safe to surmise that Somebody is part/parcel an ethical being/species/race and so forth.
2) Were human souls to be a one-hit wonder, a shot in the dark, with no continuance nor interaction with other beings once the dirt is piled on our coffins, then such a teaching program would be worthless. Therefore, let's conclude that we do indeed live & function and have the ability to affect/influence other life forms post mortem.
Now, an important item to consider, along with human continuance, is that while we *assume* this life after death to be sort of a *gift* to man from these spiritual teachers, that is an assumption that actually may not be true.
It's easy to get things jumbled up and assign credit where it doesn't necessarily belong. Just because Somebody has taken us [willingly?] in hand, does not or should not imply they are responsible for what could be a system of nature or the primary *Source* as already set in motion. We simply don't know.
But as matters do suggest that this Somebody[s] has gone to all the trouble to impart ethics to the savages, then ...
3) It is entirely likely that we [humans and our teachers] will at some point, or already DO, share a common environment. Think of it as living on the Savanna and it really being in your *best interest* to tame/train all those wild and unpredictable mosquitoes or lions, for both their good and your own.
4) So these Somebodies ... let's call them X now as I'm getting fatigued with all this typing ... X may be looked upon as either themselves assigned to taming man, or having this task assigned to them. With simply gallons of souls to deal with, to *track*, keep records on, to pop in and out of bodies like we are canning pickles in some ultra-fancy factory ... there has to be set in place a methodology or system at play.
Since I don't believe in magic, the closest analogy would be to call this process a technology. X either works in a high-tech factory, or owns the whole damn thing. Who knows? But taking into consideration how amazingly capable we primitive creatures have succeeded in advancing our own tech toys [nanotechnology just blows my mind!], can you imagine the technology that X must have, and would HAVE to have at it's disposal?
And given that all we hear is Light this, and Light that, it seems that X's technology would certainly seem to be some heretofore unknown type of technology using light, an advanced version of what we humans are currently twiddling with I imagine.
I mean, you can't hardly have an NDE without falling into some tunnel or light construct nowadays. Either X IS light, or has achieved/utilizes light as a means of consciousness *encapsulation*. Something along these lines, I believe.
You know, man is so small, and the universe so immense, that it is hard to say what business is being conducted beyond our puny senses. We're cute, and earnest, and often take ourselves so incredibly seriously, that we tend to forget that there is a rather large back yard we are playing within.
I know there are schools of belief that promote the idea of man's eternity in regards to the idea of continual, infinite worship [harps, song, whathaveyou] of some celestial Super-Being. Call this being what you will. HOWEVER, what passes for evidence combined with eons of antidote more than implies that man will have a lot more on his post-mortem plate than such superficial activity.
And I am exceedingly curious about X. There's plenty more I've thought upon, and have to suggest, beyond what I've written above. I don't know if a single whit of it smacks of accuracy or not. These are just my musings and nothing more. They aren't meant to be anything greater than what they are - and that is food for thought.
So I'll stop here and really, truly try to continue this train of thought as soon as possible. Sometimes the body tires before the mind is willing to take a time out, but that's how my story goes. In the meantime, thank you for visiting.
Namaste~

2012 End of Days
The much anticipated year 2012 has duly arrived. Man's penchant for doom and gloom, for all things apocalyptic has perhaps never been greater. We wait, each of us - some in trepidation, some with gleeful expectation - to see exactly how the infamous 2012 Mayan calendar end game plays out.
It seems everyone has an opinion regarding Dec 21, 2012. Is this the end times spoken of in various religious texts, will the Rapture be made manifest? Or does the Mayan calendar point to an astronomical event, something along the lines of the transit of Venus, or a rogue comet, meteorite or planetoid that poses a threat every X amount of years? Will Earth experience a massive CME [coronal mass ejection] the size of which deals a considerable blow to our world wide power grids? Maybe, God forbid, this is the year of epic natural disasters - will we see the eruption of a super volcano or will the North Atlantic current be affected to such a degree that we'll all be thrust unwittingly into a sudden ice age?
Could this be the year of confirmed extraterrestrial contact, or the year man manages to blow himself to collective smithereens? Perhaps 2012 will go down in history as the event that wasn't ... and we'll all awaken to the same *business as usual* on Jan. 1, 2013.
There are opinions upon opinions, and for every one of them comes pre-installed with an expert [self-proclaimed or otherwise] ready to enlighten us all as to what we may or may not expect to occur this upcoming December.
You know, calenders are funny things and sometimes go askew, requiring a bit of adjusting here or a few hours/days of subtracting there. Whatever the case may be, if I had to put my money on any particular ideology concerning the Mayan calendar - I would go with the astrological/astronomical theories.
And I say this, for what it's worth which certainly can't be much in today's uncertain market, because with rare exception nearly the entirety of man's early
civilizations paid some serious consideration to the movements of the heavens.
And I'm speaking far above and beyond the seasonal trackings which were, of course, a necessity for agriculture and so forth. Furthermore, unless I miss my guess, the Mayans weren't exactly a sea-faring people so navigating by the constellations, etc would not have been a priority.
No. There's simply no getting around the fact that the Mayans and their ilk, placed an untoward importance on the movements and tracking of the heavenly bodies. And this wasn't the kind of accuracy of information that could easily be gleaned over a generation or two.
For a civilization, or a culture, to predict with certainty that the movements of each constellation, or houses of the Zodiac, took 2,600 years to complete, then you can skippy well bet it took that culture a good 2,600 years [at least] to know this as fact. So when we take into consideration the vast amount of time, effort, and resources needed to comprise the Mayan calendar, it becomes clear to understand that this was not something the people took lightly.
Any endeavor of a people that takes away from or places a strain on survival/resource management, is an endeavor of high proportions. Especially those megalithic cultures that devoted absolutely gallons of manpower/resources in order to track the heavens. It goes without saying that someone placed a great deal of importance on what the heavens were doing, and where, and how often.
Simple religious fervor doesn't hold much weight and would almost certainly not be sufficient in and of itself, unless religious/mystical import had come to be associated with some event that could be astronomically tracked/predicted.
See, that's the sticky wicket we run into when we examine the origins of virtually all religions - that they are interwoven and heavily threaded through & through with astrology/astronomy, be they pagan or otherwise.
So back to the Mayans, et al. Somebody considered it extremely important to track the heavens. So much so that considerable man power was sacrificed that not only the specific generation at hand would be privy to the knowledge, but that it would be left in place - written in stone, as it were - for the edification of future generations.
Thus, no matter the mix of religion/spiritually that has come to obfuscate the importance of celestial knowledge, I'm inclined to believe that whatever potential *danger* we may face is a cyclic one, a threat that comes from the far, vast regions of outer space. A danger that our ancestors encountered and felt strongly enough about that they devoted considerable effort to track and predict when future generations might once again be threatened.
Or, and here's another improbable but not impossible theory. That man's early civilizations were given the knowledge by someone else. And that this Someone Else taught man the math by which to track the heavens.
Because really, when you get right down to it, either we were brilliant little things and somehow managed to put two and two together to make Pi, or someone else was kind enough to pass basic calculus onto the primitives when they weren't too busy waging war or hunting or procreating long enough to pay attention.
Now, it's not like man's myths, legends, & religions aren't absolutely swimming with hints on the above possibility. From the Sumerians to the Hebrews with a little Greek or Arabic thrown in for good measure, some God or Angel or Alien or Savior went about His business throwing bones to the local yokels. And except for the bloody wars trying to sort the whole mess out and establish once and for all who was right and who was wrong, thank you very much, Dear Someone.
On the other hand, man is a brilliant animal at best and it's entirely possible we have lived far longer on the face of this planet than commonly thought, and man discovered the importance of celestial knowledge and the associated mathematics all by his lonesome, if confused, self.
Either way you slice it, there's no argument to be had regarding our ancestors obsession with the heavens. And I don't mean in that wide eyed, awe-inspired way that most anthropologists condescendingly explain away early man's fascination with the heavens. Certainly there was that faction at one time or another, but the Mayans and so many other cultures obviously surpassed such endearing wonderment by leaps and bounds.
So, what exactly is it that those early civilizations held in such high regard or trepidation? I've read scads of information, both mainstream and otherwise, regarding the transit of Venus [Venus = Lucifer], the Oort Cloud, etc etc etc.
Whether or not the pseudo scientific Planet X, or Nibiru, or Marduk, I think
it's safe to say that at some point, if not this December, Earth will be affected/
threatened by an inner or outer planetary threat. Hopefully, by that time we will
have devised the means by which such a threat may be reduced, deflected or destroyed. Time will tell.
Do I think Jesus will return or aliens land on the White House lawn? No, I do not. Although if I'm wrong I certainly hope to watch the live updates on CNN.
Neither do I think mankind is ignorant/greedy/egocentric enough [as a whole, mind you] to blow himself or planet Earth to kingdom come. At least I hope not.
Do I think changes are in the air? Yes, that I do. Life is about change, for nothing else is so consistent. You can feel it, in those rare quiet moments between our daily onslaught of distractions.
But here is one last *thought* for both the doom Sayers and nay Sayers alike: live 2012 from your heart. Live each day in compassion, forgiveness and charity. Forget & forgive those who think differently from you. Forget the disbelievers, the sinners, the saints. If only for one stinking year each of us were to be the best most loving damn people we could be, and quit hurting each other, to cease comparing ourselves to one another, to put an end to bickering, gossip and that mindless, greedy beast called Ego that threatens to gobble everyone/everything in it's path ... what a year it would be!
This may sound heretical though I don't mean it as such, but CAN you imagine if each of us strove to be the BEST we could be, we wouldn't NEED a savior to return to do it for us. We HAVE the power, the ability and wisdom inside us to live in love, to do no harm. To respect the Earth and her creatures, to tread gently & lovingly with our fellow man, to turn a deaf ear to the clamoring of the ego and to tame our survival urge at the expense of everything else.
Whether or not 2012 ends with a bang or a whimper is not the point. The point IS to live each day in the best manner possible. That way, no matter how many or how few days remain in the collective hourglass, we have earned the right to rest content in the knowledge that we did the best we could.
Namaste.

The Secret Power of the Mind - Part 4
There is little more fascinating (and ultimately rewarding) than investigating the untapped potential of the human mind! And, if quantum physics holds any truth closest to its heart, it is that there can be no separation from 'he who observes' and 'that which is observed'. Which signifies, in essence, that we ARE what we think. The human mind imposes its expectations, fears, and beliefs outward and onto the blank canvas of reality, and the resultant *picture* is then mirrored back at the mind/observer - who FURTHER interacts, imposes, etc upon this self-same mirror thereby RE-enforcing the mind's original construction, etc and on to infinity we go. No wonder it is so difficult and lengthy a process for a leopard to change his own spots!
Before we delve further, please review my earlier posts regarding the untapped potential of the human mind:
Part 1 - http://grayaliensreptilianhumanoid2012.blogspot.com/2010/01/secret-power-of-mind-part-i.html
Part 3 - http://grayaliensreptilianhumanoid2012.blogspot.com/2010/01/secret-power-of-mind-part-iii.html
Alright, then. Hopefully you have taken the time to read the above, and are eager to explore further in depth.
Now, regardless of whether or not the *mirror effect* is some mysterious force of the Prime Creator, or a by-product of quantum entanglement, the observer effect is fairly consistent across whichever board you care to assign it. As above, so below. Path within, signposts without - just so we are clear.
Before I proceed, repeat the following silently or aloud until you are comfortable in your own mind that you completely and absolutely understand the basic premise of what we are discussing: "AS I THINK, SO IT BECOMES. AS I BELIEVE, SO IT COMES QUICKLY. AS I KNOW, SO IT IS DONE."
Yes. There are THREE stages of the Mirror Effect.
1. "Thought" plants the seed.
2. "Emotion" is the fertilizer that may quicken growth.
3. "Knowing" completes the cycle.
That is why, when studying any positive thinking, affirmations, and all related matters, one must be IMPECCABLE in one's thinking. There is no room for wishy-washy, vacillating thoughts. To quote Don Juan: a warrior must be impeccable in his thoughts.
And, of course, in order to imprint one's beliefs, desires and dreams upon the cosmic blank canvas, one must remove or patiently await the disintegration of whatever one has previously imprinted. In other words, the soil must be made clean else we are forever battling the detritus of our former gardens.
As our reality appears to suffer under the laborious constraints of Time, one must also exercise patience. A patient and impeccable thought may move mountains.
Alright, you say. I know all this. What next? Because there's always a next, isn't there? ...
This is where the study of Mind Power truly begins to grow fascinating. Because. The next step presupposes and works along the line of a SECOND intelligent party present.
We may call this 2nd mind present by any moniker we wish ... Other, Alien, Angel, Higher Self, Bob Brown, etc. As long as we are in agreement that this SECOND party is intellectually self-aware is all that's needed at this point.
So. The players now stand at three:
1] The original observing human mind
2] The blank canvas/universal mirror/quantum field
3] Another thinking self-aware mind of unknown origin and/or intent
This is where the game really takes off. For it is a rather simple notion to suppose that all one must do, to move one's car around the track in the fashion one best prefers, is to think precisely and consistently and unceasingly of the preferred direction.
But what IF another mind is also at play? What IF another mind has ALREADY set up certain conditions, constraints, rewards and punishments - or traps & fail safes along the way? How would we ever know for certain if there existed a behind-the-scene programmer? What happens when we consider the mirror effect of the quantum field as a computerized program [and please remove any remnants of The Matrix in your thinking, for that is NOT what is being proposed] - because it is very likely that IF there is indeed another thinking mind[s] present, then it is equally plausible that any program/construction must bear that particular mind[s] bias and/or prejudices.
Thus, the ultimate question must be - how would one go about discovering the 2nd mind's influence or revealing it's presence?
How might one trick the 2nd mind or 'game' the system? And, before I go one sentence further, I am NOT evoking a Creator/God when I speak of the invisibly present 2nd mind. Not at all. In fact, for ease of usage, what I AM putting out here is - say, a rather brilliant group of evolved minds somewhere far, far away. Or whatever. It really doesn't matter at THIS point, because first we must test for such a possibility without worrying about a theoretical zip code.
Now then. As we go about our daily life, it is impossible to thoroughly remove one's self from the world about us. We see good souls suffering hardships, or dying before their time. We see crime and cruelty seemingly go without punishment. We see, hear and experience so much so that it truly appears that our world, planet, society is one ass-backwards fubar. Where is the justice, where is the fair play, where is the mirror, we ask?
Right in front of us. We will see what we expect to see. We will experience what we expect to experience, and so forth. And yet ...
What if it is ALL mere illusion? That is where the power of the human mind fills the gaps. Paint what you wish to see, speak what you wish to hear. But is there an even BETTER way to create/think the experience we wish to make manifest?
If there IS a second mind at work, a hypothetical brilliant computer programmer and his crew, what have they brought to the table? What are their biases and preferences? What hidden *Easter eggs* or clues have they scattered about just waiting to be unearthed? Hmm ... I like the sound of that, don't you?
But no matter what, it is a pretty safe bet that this hypothetical 2nd entity has an "agenda" or "purpose" in mind. If you are fortunate enough to have a computer programmer/designer as a friend, ask them how they work, how they think. As I know one, I can assure you that they create with a PURPOSE in mind.
So, again. What is the purpose, the agenda of our hypothetical 2nd mind/entity? How can we think or conduct ourselves in such a way as to reveal the hidden purpose? Is there a better way to 'pass Go' and avoid any pitfalls along the route?
To seriously advance along the line of utilizing the Power of Your Mind to the absolute BEST of your ability, I suggest you pay very close attention to the seemingly innocuous events and endless minutia of your day to day life. Keep a detailed diary, and keep it updated faithfully. Look for cause and effect, for that is the most efficient tool at one's disposal.
And certainly be on the look out for synchronicity. Accept nothing as mere coincidence. Personally, I suspect that incidents of synchronicity, most notably those that come fast on the heels of a particular thought or experience, are indicative of a glitch in the program, or - at the very least - are suggestive that one is closer to the fabric of reality, as it really is. If that makes sense ...
In summation, remember the 1st triad of Mind Power: mind, intent, mirror. Remember the 2nd triad of the Mirror Effect: thought, emotion/belief, knowing/conviction. And most importantly, by meticulous observation, be on the lookout for the 3rd triad of Partnership: the human mind [you], the mirror itself, and the behind-the-scenes secondary mind/unknown programmer.
Does God Exist?
It's only recently that I've pondered the existence of God without experiencing that furtive, fearful sense that I'm somehow committing an unpardonable sin simply by daring to question, what is to many, an unassailable given. IS THERE A GOD?
God, with a capital G. As in the primary source, the singular, the First Cause. As we humans have this persistent need to personify the forces around us - let us also consider then the Great, Bearded Man in the Sky, or man's idea of God.
Personally, my opinion is that if indeed a singular First Cause Force/Intelligence does exist, then It is a far cry from man's limited notion of what God may embody. However, and despite how inexpressibly difficult a concept the following at first appears, the universe does not necessarily require a First Cause. Like it or not.
While my heretical thinking might at first brand me as an atheist, an agnostic might be the more accurate term - although I think the need for labeling is pointless. We're all on a journey of discovery, and this is where I am at THIS point in the Great Process.
Nonetheless, when I examine the concept of God in the strictest sense of the term, the first and most glaring obstacle in my acceptance thereof, is the notion of Fair Play.
You know, that whole ethics vs free will kind of thing - one of which seems to be sadly lacking, in my humble opinion.
While it is reported, and perhaps accurately, that man is not capable of seeing the entire picture from his limited perspective - it appears to me that any deity which allows the level of cruelty against the helpless & innocent as is so rampant on our dear planet Earth, THAT deity is sadly lacking in ethics and has a tremendous lot to answer for. To be held accountable for.
Inexcusable, no matter what the lesson nor how big a picture we are talking here.
In absolute honesty, the majority of humans are a rather selfish, brutish and frequently cruel species that has an unfair advantage over the rest of God's green earth. Not only that, but we are lazy and stupid and frequently malicious as well. The human focus, in general, is nearly always self-serving, even if that means another living, feeling creature must suffer unthinkable tortures as long as man's desires are to be met.
Nice plan, God. Thank You for the creation and domination of a singular species with the ability to thoroughly rape and ruin the other 99% of Your children.
But there's good news! Allegedly man has a soul, a little perk denied the 99%, so we're the only creature that matters here. And we are so worried, so fearful that our SOUL make it to the free parking/home base called Heaven, where our trials and tribulations shall cease to matter, that we don't give a tinker's damn about the process. This is a case where the end justifies the means. Allegedly.
So, no. When I see forests destroyed and indigenous populations rendered homeless, when I see helpless animals tortured or babies beaten to death, when our foodstuffs are *manufactured* under conditions that most of us do NOT wish to know about - because then the unpleasant burden of knowledge would make the veal or milk or chicken patty less palatable, when - in order to serve man's horrible vanity that he/she might appear desirable - creatures are blinded that we might color our hair, skin, and so on and so forth ... I cannot and will not believe that any supposed deity/creator could have good reason to allow such atrocities under the guise of Free Will.
Not only is it deplorable ethics, but it is also illogical. Therefore, progressing along this particular line of reasoning, is it possible that man's idea of God is terribly flawed/limited [biased?]? Are we then to consider the notion that perhaps, should an almighty truly exist, that God is more of a First Cause/Force?
Certain proponents of theocracy would have it that not only is man incapable of understanding God, but that Man is NOT to question the mysterious [that's putting it nicely] workings of God. And as I prefaced with, it is only in my increasing age that I have begun to feel even remotely comfortable with questioning the supposed ineffable.
However, we are still left with the paradox of struggling to reconcile a benevolent God or Creator or First Cause et al, with the conditions of cruelty and corruption rife within our paradigm.
We go to church on Sunday to bask in the reflected glow of God's Word, then we drive home in our gas-guzzlers, ignore our pets dependent upon us for love & sustenance, we remove our clothing that was largely produced in third world countries for a pittance and under sub-human conditions, we feast on the flesh of animals that were abused and will never know kindness nor such basics as green grass and fresh air, we cleanse our skin of cosmetics, perfumes, and other laboratory concoctions, ... we do all the above and more besides, and yet have the unmitigated gall to believe our souls are somehow *saved*.
If that is not the epitome of insanity, I don't know what is.
So, no - I don't see how man's idea of God is plausible. Therefore, and again - along this one particular line of conjecture because life is neither black or white - God, should He or She or It be a real & true entity, must be something entirely different from what we would like to comfortably believe.
I'm not sure what THAT might be, but until we know for certain, could we please agree to stop killing each other and the rest of the ecosystem in the meantime? That's what I'd like to see God/Creator/First Cause, etc do. Give man a "Time-Out" and send us to our room for further reflection.
In conclusion, there are those who say that time and space are not linear constructs at all, that everything exists at once in an ever-present Now. If that is true, then consider the possibility that in our linear perspective, God is something we create as we go along. That the loving and omnipotent God we seek can only spring from our own being. And if that should be the case, we've certainly got our work cut out for us.
I truly don't know.

After Death Communications
One of the most profound paranormal experiences one may have is that which is commonly referred to as an after death communication - wherein an individual has sufficient reason to believe they have been purposefully contacted (in one fashion or another, typically via the dream state) by a deceased loved one, family member, close friend or other.
While after death communications (ADCs for short) may purportedly be brought about by forced means such as seances, mediumships, or other like methods that seem dubious at best, it appears for the most part that ADCs occur during our sleep state. Likewise, it seems that despite our earnest desire for such communication - for our own peace of mind regarding the continuity of those we hold dearest to our heart - the ball primarily appears to be in some other court, not ours, and we, the living, are stuck on the receiving end.
At least for now.
Here is where I'd like to add my privately held opinion that if there is indeed any objective, scientific validity to the continuation of human awareness beyond the grave - then at some upcoming point in man's technological future we will most certainly learn to bridge the gap between Here and There.
We will become the callers, instead of the callees.
We will do this, despite any and all arguments to the contrary, because we must.
Because we are no different than any other living object in that we are are survival driven (which is a whole 'nother topic).
Now, back to the matter of after death communications per se:
For the sake of discussion, let us (at least temporarily) take it as a given that death is not necessarily the end of human continuity - that in some fashion or another man survives his own death.
Let's also assume that we retain some rudimentary sense of self-identity, at the very least. Which is to say, we remember.
For without *self-memory* - we are screwed (which is an awfully sticky wicket, hence the dilemma of *reincarnation*).
But if after death communications are anything to go by, the deceased human being - to some degree for some unknown period of 'time' - seems to survive death and recognize his connection to those he's left behind in life.
For a true example, consider the following: My mother died way back in 1969. My father followed her decades later in 2002. Thirty three years lapsed between the deaths of my parents. Yet, when my father died I believe I may have received an actual After Death Communication.
Arriving to the town of his birth and death, in the wee hours of the morning of his visitation & funeral, I had a few hours to catch a little sleep after having traveled all night.
I dreamed that my father came to me, standing in front of me with my long-deceased mother silently sitting - waiting for him to conduct his 'business' with me - on the sofa in the background of the living room where I lay sleeping.
I knew he was dead, he knew I knew, and without any preamble, my father explained that he wanted me to tell everyone that he'd be there for his funeral, but no one would recognize him because he'd be dressed funny.
As a quick aside here, I'm puzzled as to why my mind, or his communication, used the word 'funny' to describe how he would be dressed, so to speak. The best I can come up with, at the moment, is that it was metaphoric for strange, odd, ironic, humorous, unusual clothing or the dressing of his new soul/energy self. Why the use of a seeming metaphor in the first place? While there was nothing surreal or right brain suggestive of this ADC, I now suspect that the word 'funny' was used as a sort of all-encompassing symbol that held all the possible meanings of the word funny to be true - a shorthand of the mind, if you will. In other words, the one word held many truths.
Anyway, upon awakening I was of course flabbergasted by this dream, or ADC. And also of the fact that after all those long years, it seemed my mother had waited for my father and was present to greet him on the other side.
From this dream I deduced that my mother had retained enough memory and self-awareness to remember her husband after 33 earth years had passed. Not withstanding that time may be different or non-existent there, at least in earthly passage it was a considerable amount of time.
That gave me some hope, clue or indication that we - the living - may not be so quickly forgotten by those who have passed on into death (whatever that really means).
And here is where I have to backtrack, to lay a little groundwork as to why this ADC and peek into the likely continuation of my mother was so important ... when my mother passed away in the spring of 1969, I was only 11 years old. Almost immediately after she died, I had a frightening dream (or was it an ADC?). In this dream I saw my mother walking in the front door, and I knew that she was dead. I was terrified in that knowledge, and didn't think the dead were supposed to be walking back into their homes. Having been exposed at an early age to such mid-century paranormal fare as Shock Theatre, Dark Shadows, One Step Beyond and all the rest, I wasn't intellectually prepared for anything beyond sensational drivel. Thus I was scared senseless by seeing a dead person return from grave, walking in my (our) front door.
As mom continued to glide closer in the dream, I hid and closed my eyes, hoping she'd go back wherever she came from.
And thus went the only dream or possibly ADC from my mother I ever recalled until the time of my father's passing, thirty three years later.
***
As silly and unlikely as this may sound, I've often wondered why I didn't again dream of my mother in the interim between my parents passing - AND the conclusion I've reached, partly based on nothing more tangible than 'feeling', is that my mother was a little 'put out' by my post-mortem rejection of her, and stubbornly decided to 'keep away'.
She wasn't a red head for nothing.
But irony aside, if my feelings were somehow correct, then that would also argue in favor of the continuation of the personality/ego along with the soul energy.
In the 2002 dream or After Death Communication with my father, as I have mentioned my mother sat quietly in the background, waiting for him to finish his business with me. She sat silently immobile, perched ladylike on the edge of the sofa, legs demurely crossed at the ankles with her hands still in her lap, turned in dad's direction as he spoke with me. She gave no indication of my presence, entirely focused on my father as she were.
I did notice that though her figure appeared dimmer or faintly obscured to me, she also appeared far younger and thinner, healthier than she was at the time of her death.
Now, again - if we are to take this apparent ADC at face value - it is plausible that she was not aware of my presence. Since we've really no idea how these things work, the mild obfuscation of her form may have had to do more with privacy or manners than any dimming of vision on my part. Or hers.
Think about it. When someone wishes to speak with us directly, or privately, we tend to move apart from the herd. We sequester ourselves as a means to gaining privacy of discourse. Perhaps my mother's obfuscation was the equivalent of that same social behavior over there.
***
I suspect we have a ways to go before we can fully understand exactly what an After Death Communication truly is. I also seriously consider the case that should there continue to mount evidence supporting the continuance of the human creature post mortem, then man will literally move heaven on it's mount until we have exposed this misty unknown to the full light of human understanding.
Curiosity, along with the survival drive, will most certainly take us beyond the realm of superstition, theology, fear and ignorance.
While urban legend has it that Thomas Edison considered the making of a machine to talk with the dead, someone - sometime - somehow will firmly take such a thing out of the pages of fiction and into the annals of technology. You can bet on it.

Alien Abduction in Dreams
As infrequently as most of us remember our dreams in detail, from time to time there may be remembered a dream of exceptional clarity - one that is stunning in both it's emotional impact upon the dreamer, as well as the unusual content of the dream itself.
Not discounting instances of sleep paralysis (or the Old Hag syndrome) or lucid dreaming, there are those dreams redolent with a particular alien flavor - a certain level of high strangeness - that leaves us scratching our heads come the morning light.
While most of us who have made at least a cursory attempt to understand this type of strangeness have resultantly become familiar with hypnogogic and hypnopompic imagery (alpha state), the deeper slower rhythms of delta and theta states, the increasing frequency of REM (shorter cycles) as the night progress, as well as the roles that melatonin, serotonin and DMT play in regulating our wake/sleep state, and finally - the processing/condensed storage/enhancement of memory via REM common to nearly all mammals as a means to save on *space* [or size of the skull/brain cavity kept within a range suitable to the mother's birth canal].
Okay, so we know all this.
And yet ...
What we do not know is how a mind not of this planet may function. Pre-supposing there are indeed intelligent beings scattered throughout our ever expanding cosmos, they are just as likely to possess brains (a) with one singular undivided hemisphere, (b) have as little as one or two brain wave states, (c) or half a dozen, or (d) have a completely different data processing center as compared to our own brain/nervous system.
So while it can be reasonably stated that man is finally exiting the dark ages as regards the workings of his own biology, the same cannot be said for anything else that may be 'out there'.
Which leaves us with a quite valid conundrum as to whether or not so called alien dreams have any objective validity beyond the subjective worth of the dreamer.
While it may be the height of foolishness to attribute any import to dreams of Greys or Reptilian beings, it may equally well be the height of arrogance/ignorance to disregard such dreams.
For we simply do not know.
***
Now, if my own personal dreams are of any merit, then I can truthfully say that - upon close and detailed examination - they [as is customary with the right brain state] are rife with metaphor and symbolics. As most dreams are.
I can also say that these metaphors and symbols do not extend to the exceptional dream characters sometimes present. Again, to be clear - it is often the dream imagery that is symbolic or overlayed, not necessarily the *communication* as given within the dream.
I'll admit, this is annoying to try and make concisely understood. But there is an unique distinction between ordinary dreams and those that possibly indicate another mind present besides that of the single dreamer.
For a good example - one of my dream characters asked, with the utmost degree of facetiousness (or snarky, if you prefer) - "do you know where you are?"
Unfortunately, I didn't. I would love to know what this character would have said if I had been lucid enough to pursue the line of questioning. Maybe another time ...
Anyway, not knowing how any other mind besides the human mind functions, it is possible, if not plausible, that somehow, somewhere, there may be intelligent beings aware of our existence who reach us via our dream state. In fact, it is not wholly unlikely that for some beings the dream state might be the only way/time they CAN interact with us.
Or interface, as I like to say.
However. There arises potential problems with the above theory, and to name but a few:
1. We do not have any infallible means by which we can distinguish the workings of our own imagination and the intrusion of an objective *other*. God knows, our mental health as a species is on shaky enough ground as is.
2. The gullible, superstitious, ignorant or unstable among us could be made worse by entertaining such a possibility in the first place. Some egos/personalities being more fragile than others.
3. If the human mind is an open door to everyday stimuli of all sorts, is it also *open* to whomever or whatever happens to land on our doorstep? Can we close the door if desire or need be?
On a more positive note, if alien abduction dreams may sometimes be distorted, yet true interfaces with other objective beings ... consider the following metaphors - ones I've uncovered by taking the time to commit all note worthy dreams to the annals of my tattered dream journal:
pregnant - to expect or be *expecting*
doctor/physician - one who heals or examines
baby - to bring forth, new life, young
fossil or dinosaur - old, extinct, buried
hospital - where one is healed
alien - visitor, alien-to-the-dreamer, unfamiliar, unknown
And so forth. I know I'm missing more, but without digging through a 14 year backlog, that's all that comes to mind at the moment. Yet, my point is that one should not necessarily take one's dream surroundings or actions at the same literal value as one does to all things awake. It is too easy to *jump* to the wrong conclusion when one is dealing with right brain imagery.
Which is absolutely not to relegate our right brain workings to the same dung heap as unicorns and dancing pink elephants.
If anything, after years of paying close attention to the amazing charade-like nature inherent in right brain communication, I have developed a deep respect for this often overlooked and easily dismissed portion of our being.
This silent partner who - though without conscious voice - guides, counsels and intuits every man, woman and child from birth to grave.
In conclusion, I'd like to add that though it may be eons before the seeming mystery of what alien abduction dreams truly represent - self, other or some bizarre combination thereof - it is a highly rewarding, often fascinating hobby to keep a dream journal. If you've never done so, or for whatever reason abandoned the practice, now is the time to begin anew.
Especially if you have reason to suspect/fear/desire that you may have been *contacted* - so to speak.
All I ask, ... well, strongly suggest ... is that you keep a level head, good sense of humor and a large grain of salt on hand at all times.
Even IF our minds are not accessible to alien beings, soul guides, angels or what have you, at least we may access our ever faithful silent partner (the right brain) and be a little better off for having done so.
It's a strange world, after all.

Alien Reincarnation - A Completely New Twist
The subconscious, in its ability to creatively express itself - often in overlays so subtle that were one NOT paying attention and keeping a dream journal (which every student of the paranormal should make the effort to maintain a regular log of sorts) one would live their life oblivious to the deeper, hidden riches essentially at our fingertips - May sometimes unexpectedly bring forth some of these riches in the form of eurekas not ordinarily contemplated by the waking, conscious mind.
Think brain barf of the highest order.
Or better yet, for those less graphically inclined ... imagine an onion whereas each layer represents a facet of consciousness - the outer layer being our waking, working beta ego-self and the subconscious buried closer to the center of the self, where it must pass information through multiple barriers until it is finally *epiphany* received and understood (hopefully) by you and I.
Not an easy task, I might add.
Nonetheless. I've long had a standing interest in the western concept of reincarnation. And I use the adjective 'western' because there are variations galore on the whole 'born again' conundrum.
Now, being of a more academic bent with no allegiance to any structured belief system, it's easy for me to take paranormal experiences with a certain nonchalance that only comes when one hasn't the vested interest of a belief system to uphold/defend.
But I have to admit that the whole concept of birth/rebirth lays uncomfortably under my mental skin, like a burr in the saddle. It's not that I see any problem with energy being *recycled* as it were, rather - it is the alleged loss of memory that typically accompanies such recycling, which, in my opinion, seems like a loss of self hood in the most horrible sense. I don't want to forget my loved ones, my experiences and my accomplishments. I don't like the idea of some separate soul prancing merrily through time and space while *I* am reconciled to the back of the personality closet.
However.
I had an epiphany.
Or with less drama and fanfare, ... let us say I had the most amazing dream which opened up an entirely unique way to consider the workings of reincarnation, and in a way far more palatable to the incarnated ego (moi):
"... decades rolled back, and I was once again fourteen years old. Like a character in a play with full awareness of the roll he played, while consigned to do so only within the pre-defined perimeters of his actions - I knew myself to be far greater than the character I was *imprisoned* within.
I was *imprisoned* within this repeated 14 year old persona - ala Groundhog's Day - but what constrained my free will was something resembling a universal mathematics/sacred geometry set in stone - something I barely, dimly was aware of and powerless to affect.
I say "powerless", but it was the character that was powerless. It was entirely up to the buried self to deliberately or accidentally change the *equation* - for lack of a better term.
So, there I was. Repeating my 14Th year, which included major changes that had immense long term ratifications for the remainder of my waking life (me here) ... when suddenly my mother made a slight, innocuous alteration to the original script.
In that moment - I was FREE!!! Free and flushed with a greater understanding as to how reincarnation (perhaps) worked. It was giddy, and I shook with excitement as suddenly I was *released* from the bonds that had kept me chained to playing this role over and over again.
To my mother I joyfully exclaimed, "This time you didn't buy the couch! You made a subconscious choice to do something different and you have changed the probability! We are free to behave differently this time around, and I am going to try much harder to be a better daughter for you."
The crux of the matter was this: Somehow, someway, we (as humans incarnating) are each trapped within a certain pre-designed, laid out plan/script. And that we will repeat our roles, say in my case being born over and over again to the same parents, the same year, etc - until we are able to *break* a pattern or probability. Does this make sense?
These changes in probability occur not in our conscious minds, but rather in the subconscious or super conscious mind. We do not, or cannot abandon (escape) a role until we have "milked it" in as many ways as are productive (in some fashion that is currently beyond my ability to articulate).
We grow in ever-widening circles, so to speak.
Now, obviously, I cannot say with any certainty that this rather bizarre and outstanding dream contained any verifiable objective truth. I can, cautiously, say that it may contain a germ of factuality insomuch as it helps explain deja vu, premonitions, the sense of being overridden at times by an unknown higher self at the helm, and all other sorts of covert intuitions we are subject to as a species.
If nothing else, it's certainly an interesting take on an old chestnut - that is - reincarnation.
Thoughts?

I can, cautiously, say that it may contain a germ of factuality insomuch as it helps explain deja vu, premonitions, the sense of being overridden at times by an unknown higher self at the helm, and all other sorts of covert intuitions we are subject to as a species.
If nothing else, it's certainly an interesting take on an old chestnut - that is - reincarnation.

CLICK
For a change, I'm keeping this one short and simple - hence the title 'CLICK'. What I am referring to here is the mysterious click one may hear open exiting or reentering the human body in the wake of an OBE [Out of Body Experience].
Some people report hearing this *metallic* or sharply hollow sound accompanied by the heavy dross weight of the human body once again encapsulating their etheric form upon returning from NDEs [Near Death Experiences] as well.
So what the deuce is this sound anyway? Or rather, what is the mechanism responsible for the *click* heard round the world, as it were? Are we talking something as prosaic as a common auditory hallucination?
Or something more?
I've heard this myself, just a few times - so there's a vested interest in putting this question out there. In my case, the most recent, the *click* sounded like a robot had snapped it's fingers both inside and outside my head - without any perceived direction the sound had issued from.
But whatever the case may be, I find it wonderfully intriguing that this sound somehow seems to signal - like a mechanism designed especially for this exact purpose - the physical body springing open and releasing its contents, or swinging closed like a trap or iron maiden of yore.
One has to wonder [well, this one does at any rate] if indeed there is some type of vibratory/frequency gadgetry at work by who knows whom/what, where, when and for what ultimate purpose.
Which leads me down the speculative path [admittedly a long path with too many twists and turns] of those supposedly higher intelligences who would have designed such a thing in the first place.
(For some silly reason I'm seeing wee sparks of soul lights popped into the human form, assembly line style, like a sardine factory.)
Anyway, just curious about the whole *click* thing. Any input would be greatly appreciated~

Ultraterrestrials and Other Strangers
While it's easy to jump on the UFOnaut bandwagon, there's an insistent part of my rational self stubbornly resisting the notion that our mysterious visitors - e.g. Gray aliens, for one - are physical 3-D explorers akin to some intergalactic Lewis & Clark team, zipping about the heliosphere waiting to pounce on unwary bipeds from backwater planets in order to deprive them of any superfluous sperm and ova.
Though I could be mistaken.
Nonetheless, for the sake of argument, I'd like to momentarily align myself with some of the more eclectic thinkers in this field of high strangeness - Vallee, Keel, Jung, et al.
What is proposed herein is that the entire realm of paranormal manifestation is a type of bleed-through or evolutionary pressure from a heretofore invisible ... how to put this? ... plane of existence beyond our normal, everyday ability to recognize.
And by recognize, I mean in the sense of mainstream empirical science. We cannot, at will, observe-measure-replicate the paranormal. We can approximate it. We can stimulate areas of the human brain to duplicate certain aspects of the paranormal/human response. But what we cannot do is to control the phenomenon itself.
We cannot manifest, at will, a throng of spindly bug-eyed creatures lounging about the lab for our viewing pleasure.
Admittedly, I have a strong bias against the UFO explanation to start with. If I've beat this drum once, I've beat it a thousand times and I'll beat it here again to briefly explain why I have this bias:
Any aerial sighting in the last approximately 80 years would be incredibly difficult to sort out as to it's origin - particularly in lieu of classified military R & D. It's absolutely pointless or unbelievably naive to expect any country's government to come clean on matters of national security. It's far more likely, - actually rather expected at this point - for test flights, etc to be conducted under the guise of UFO sightings then later denied out of hand. If anything, the paranormal phenomena of *whateverthehell* is going on serves as a beautiful blanket to cover up any messy, albeit necessary, matters of beta experimentation with those earthly technologies still in the early stages of development. And that includes any subsequent psychological/social experimentation as well.
PRIOR to the 20Th Century we did indeed have our reports of aerial ships (and I mean this literally) of which many have later been attributed to journalistic pranksters and their hilarious lot. With all the participants long deceased it would be exhausting to unravel those 19Th century threads to see where they actually originated.
Going further back yet, into the misty annals of written/oral history, we have anecdotes of vimanas, visitors from Sirius, and all the rest. Not to callously dismiss these accountings, but between astronomical anthropomorphics and religious metaphor, let alone misidentifications, et al - it would be akin to finding a needle in the proverbial haystack to factually and finally figure out exactly, precisely what our ancestors were trying to express.
It's pointless, is my point. You can't make good proof out of century old pudding.
So Then.
Better to start here and now, or as a famous President once stated - to do the best, where you are, with what you've got.
The alien phenomena with its associated missing time, sexual/reproductive overtones, false or distorted messages/prophesies and clandestine subjective interface - all sounds amazingly similar to what human beings the world over have struggled to express and understand since time immemorial.
And this is an ongoing phenomena, one that seems to mimic human expectations and our collective ability to frame an understanding for whateverthehellisgoingon. Something, or someone, like the famed Wizard of Oz, seems to be standing right behind a fine curtain, operating and pulling strings, and yet - for all our supposed intellect and technical prowess - we cannot pull this curtain aside and expose him to the light of rational day.
Frustrating, eh?
Which may, it is entirely possible, be the entire point of the matter.
It is a highly plausible theory that the quickest, most efficient way to prompt or jump start an evolutionary leap in species intelligence is to place a species (either collectively or individually) under stress. A stressed species must either adapt, quickly, or perish. This process of deliberate and prolonged stress may also precipitate a type of neoteny, which more than one researcher has hypothesized as being evident in those creatures commonly referred to as the Grays or gray aliens.
And one of the surefire unarguable stresses is to subject an intelligent species to a problem that it cannot intellectually resolve. A conundrum or paradox, maddening at times, presents itself in such a way that the stressed intellect must resolve - or is forced to resolve - the stress, and failing that resolution, the intellect is driven by an inherit survival drive to uncover new tools/methods to solve the problem.
Ask questions for which there are no answers. Demand answers for which no questions exist. The hamster must abandon the wheel, but he cannot until he discovers the means to unlock his cage. Until then, his very nature forces him to spin round and round, getting nowhere and exhausting himself in the interim.
One need look no further than this very blog, or countless others like it, in order to see the intellectual wheels spinning round and round. There are dozens of theories, from the sublime to the ridiculous, which struggle to make sense of the nonsense that many of us face in the subjective twilight of 3 a.m.
At the best we are respectfully heard and sympathised with, at the worst we are branded as lunatics and crazies. The very, VERY worst is when we are branded as mistaken. For those of us who have found ourselves in the grip of a powerful unknown, and have stood eye to eye with something that bares us to the depth of our eternal soul - something we cannot define, understand or express to our fellow species without fear of ridicule - we KNOW what we know to be true.
Whatever that is.
So, are we better off for our excursion into the unknown? Are we the victims of delusion, aberrant brain chemistry, EMF or ELF fields, psychological experimentation or old fashioned alien abduction?
Perhaps the proof in the pudding is what you make of it, after all.
Personally, I 100% do not recommend that one fall victim to the temptations of grandeur, nor any other trappings of ego. Forget the *I am a special chosen One* and all such nonsense. For if anything can truly be said about this phenomena, it has a distinct tendency to blow up in the ego's face.
The Ultraterrestrial theory lends one to suppose that there is a far greater agenda - natural or contrived - at play, and this agenda does its utmost best to manipulate the emotions, expose the ego, and force the intellect to abandon convenient explanations along the way.
Somehow, for good or ill, it forces us to be better than what we are, in a make it or break it kind of way. It doesn't allow for angels or demons, and other superstitious manifestations, for it blurs the line between such dichotomous thinking as the phenomena progresses - being first one extreme then the other.
The Grays themselves may be seen as Saviours or Satans, depending on one's critical thinking and emotional response to whatever experiences have been delicately crafted to the individual him or herself. In a horribly beautiful way it's all very personal, a cloth each of us must wear according to our own dimensions.
And just when we think we can pigeonhole the paranormal into certain well-defined parameters, it changes shape once again and defies the box we keep attempting to confine it within.
So it's back to square one. No matter how brilliant or deductive or clever we think ourselves, we are always sent back to square one.
Such is the nature of stress.
Though I could be mistaken.

Alien Thoughts - Part 1
For someone with a lot to say, I haven't written a peep on my alien blog for the last eleven months. Two separate instances of a broken tendon in my left hand - as well as various commitments - have rendered me quiet, kept my writing to a minimum, and I've used a great deal of that time to lay low, read, observe, and to further think about things.
Really think.
It's so easy to miss THE primary paradigm; life being the fractal experience that it is.
Let me clarify this for a moment, please. Everything repeats. Every thing we experience is somehow a variation of what has come before. Both on a personal as well as a global level. From cycles in weather to war, pick your poison - nothing is new. Not really, not if you take the time to examine the root experience, or 1st Cause.
Our personal lives are not one iota different. Certainly, the circumstances including people and places may be somewhat changed, but the core experience is not.
And yet. And yet - there IS a change, on the surface at least. And that surface change is the yardstick by which we measure our progression as an individual, a member of society, a species, et al.
So we might term the above as Superficial Growth. Which is infinite, and YET ... like a fractal, the core from which it springs is finite, as in the Golden Ratio. There is an outward movement from the center, creating magnificent variations that distract and delude us into imagining that we are somehow progressing forward, when ... we're just *patterning*, is all.
Now, I'll be the first to admit that while I suspect a lot, I don't really know anything. How can any of us? And yet, God love us all, we certainly try to understand. Over and over and over and over. We keep on keepin' on, trying, because some how, some where, a new day will dawn - with bluebirds chirping on the windowsill, deer scampering through the lush green grass of our collective backyard, etc - where everything will be fresh, will magically change, where we will somehow, some way, be granted the epiphany key to unlock the great Mystery of Life. And to change, adjust and re-align this absurd, sorrowful fubar each of us are trapped within.
But.
Here's the kicker.
The program is set at the Golden Ratio. Think of it in terms of binary code. Super Mario cannot ever achieve anything beyond what he is programmed to do. C-code, ones and zeros. You get the idea.
So how does one 'bust out', we rightfully ask? Because, to be blunt, planet Earth truly sucks, for most of us, more often than not. And, depending on one's belief system or lack thereof, things are rather *iffy* once we seemingly *exit* our tour of duty here on planet Fubar.
How do we - to quote Robert Monroe - achieve escape velocity?
For what it is worth, to be taken with a grain of salt, here follows my current way of thinking on the aforementioned:
That there is not one, but rather at least two pre-programmed paradigms, or code if you prefer, at work.
The Primary Paradigm is 1111. Yes, you heard me right. A programmed code where nothing can be greater than one, or THE ONE. All is a multiple of the first cause ... the singular entity, - be it you, me, he, she, it, they, them, here, there and so forth. Eleven or 111 or 1111 or 111111111111111111. It's all the same. I call it the *Mirror Effect*, because it sums things up in a nutshell and I like how it sounds.
Everything repeats.
The Second or "Complementary" Paradigm is the Golden Ratio. The importance of how this added condition affects the first paradigm cannot be over emphasized. For here there appears to be outward movement, infinite growth no less, but it's all an illusion - astounding as that illusion may be.
Our attention becomes fixated, mesmerized by this illusion of change, of growth, and yet we haven't really *gone* anywhere. We circle, spiral, endlessly repeating self within a boundary of pre-set constraints, never to venture further than our own backyard.
Pretty, pretty patterns. And again, to those familiar with the journals of Robert Monroe, this isn't exactly new News! However, man's attention span being the sorry thing it is, a reminder is in order.
So, in blunt basics, it doesn't really matter too much whether or not man is still gnawing bones around a campfire, or walking on the surface of the moon. For wherever we go, there we are. We take ourselves - 1111 - with us. Different day, same sh*t.
We take ourselves with us, and become fixated on a (seemingly) new event/growth/experience. But as the core stays the same, so does the Complementary paradigm - another duplicated pattern emerges, we ooh and ah! - and yet, all stays the same. We haven't really *gone* anywhere, or *changed* anything. At least, not below the surface.
And that's what keeps us trapped. Self, and the patterns we make, which are experienced by self, and so forth. Sounds like a bad LSD trip, doesn't it?
Worse by far, rather than expending the enormous effort to actually *change* anything, it's a lot easier to chalk it all up as a lot of New Age mental masturbation, leave the problem(s) for someone else with a better head to deal with, and continue on our merry way. What's for dinner, what's on the telly, and who's up for the World Series?
For all our pyramids and plasma Televisions, Man is a lazy animal. He really is, you know.
[My apologies, but I have to stop here, and put this out in multiple posts. I can't keyboard while wearing the finger splint, but I'm limited as to how long I can tolerate its absence. The spirit is willing and such, but my finger bloody well hurts.]

Avatar & Aliens - The Watchers Inside Each of Us
The concept of alien observants is actually a plausible one, an idea I've seriously entertained for many years and conjectured about, both on this blog and in the privacy of conversations with interested parties (even disinterested parties on a slow day lol).
Ideally, if one were to desire the most accurate of information as regards a diverse species, the only way to garner such data would be from a type of 'inhabitation' of the species itself, from the inside of the particular species in question. Any lesser means of information gathering would result in bias, misunderstanding and contaminated data because, for accuracy's sake, any being/species once aware it is being observed alters its behavior. We see this conundrum in wildlife study, hence our current reliance on closed circuit cameras.
As nutty as the idea of an internal, subjective alien interloper first appears - stop and really think about it for a moment. Break down the logistics and you'll see what I mean. Avatar, in its basic thrust, captured this self-same conjecture. Anyway, let's consider the following ...
The Universe is seriously large, folks. Mind bending type of large. The type of really, really big that makes the idea of life elsewhere not only plausible, but mathematically a certainty.
Okay, most of us are educated to this idea and have no problem with the conception of extraterrestrial life extant in the Universe. It's when we consider that 'alien' beings could somehow visit Earth that derision rears it's ugly head.
In other words, it's a given that life, and lots of it, should exist out there, just so long as it remains out there, and not running amok on good ol' planet Earth. That just seems silly, given the distances involved. Right?
Wrong.
Just because the recently (in cosmic time) evolved hominid aka Man, has yet to develop the ways and means beyond the distance factor, has precious little to do with the ways and means of other intergalactic species. We could have said the same thing about nuclear energy two centuries ago. Or electricity, or anything thing else for that matter. It's where you are on the game board, that's all. Everything, pretty much, is simply a matter of time - of getting from point A to point B. Everything, eventually, is a given.
So let us not judge the prowess of others based upon our own (Although I've said, and still do, that light will be the pinnacle of space travel, not a souped up Chevy - we're just not there yet. But that's another topic so we'll save it for now).
Thus far, we've got the rather basic rational that the Universe contains life beyond this planet. Nature isn't wasteful HERE, and not likely anywhere else. Where life can develop, according to its needs, it absolutely will so do.
A) Aliens Exist
B) Some of these beings will be sentient. Those sentient beings will be all along the scale of energy development: From fire to fission to whathaveyou.
Now, taking into account the sentient alien species with a level of energetic technology similar to our own, those beings are likely still playing around in their own back yards, in much the same way that we are playing around in ours, getting to know our own various solar systems. Just like children learning to explore within the safe confines of our respective neighborhoods. Not too hard a concept to fathom, eh?
But there are bound to be some bigger kids out there, they are the ones who have the means and ways, the discoveries and intellect (perhaps) to venture beyond their respective neighborhoods. And, again, given the size of the known Universe (God knows what else lays 'out there') ... there are bound to be some bigger, and likely a LOT bigger 'kids' or alien races flitting about.
Those bigger, or more energetically savvy of the bunch, and possessed of the need or mere curiosity to explore, are certainly doing so. God knows WE would, and do, to the best of our current abilities. We explore. We gather information. We learn. We experiment.
WE do these things, and man is quite likely not the only intelligent, sentient race of beings involved in such pastimes. Again, given the mathematical logistics - there are no doubt just BUNCHES and bunches of explorers flitting here and yon in the good ol' Universe, let alone our galactic suburb.
For all that matter, Earth's galactic suburb - the Milky Way/Sagittarius Dwarf co-mix, is amply large enough for our mathematical logistics - we don't even NEED to factor in the rest of the Universe for the purpose of this discussion. *Remember, kids, learning begins at home* lol
Going back now, to the original idea of a subjective explorer. Honestly, if it could be done, by us, them, or whoever, it should and would be done subjectively, from the inside out. Again, logically and honestly, bare bones with no quasi Sci-Fi theatrics - and given the technical means to do so ... the most accurate, safest and unobtrusive fact finding, information gathering process would have to be conducted from the skin out!
Regardless of how far-fetched (to some) this idea appears, there is simply no way around it, no sound argument to be had against the logic. Again, if information could be gathered in such a way, then this would be the ultimately ideal way to explore other life forms.
Think of it, there would be safety against physical contamination (as the physical form of the explorer would not be placed in danger via contact). There would little to no risk of incurring the wrath of the indigenous species. There would be little to no risk of the explorer opening up his world, his home and fellow beings to future visits/retaliation by the galactic wildlife (what trail would there be to follow?) There would be the greatest opportunity for learning, without fear of contamination or mis-understanding.
Subjectively inhabiting the mind of an alien species would be the safest, surest, most unobtrusive, and accurate means by which to learn. By experience. (Can anyone say reincarnation here? - makes a person wonder, doesn't it? All this talk about body/soul. Hmm... maybe WE, as well, are alien explorers? Wouldn't it be wild if MAN was the flea in the primate's ear?!)(Wouldn't surprise me at all. Will somebody please get me outta this monkey suit lol)(Not really but kinda sorta)
Without fear of contaminating one's nest, or misunderstandings occurant, to subjectively inhabit an alien being would be the PINNACLE of learning. And, believe me, if man can conceive the idea - albeit through fiction - somebody else will, can and has as well.
You can bet your math on it.
Would the above concept be that which fuels the Watcher concept? That of a non-interfering, neutral and objective Watcher. One who co-inhabits the life form of a diverse species in order to gain learning. One who subjectively observes it's subjects.
And, because my warped little mind works this way, if the above WERE to be true in OUR case (and I hope I've shown why it's not THAT unlikely an idea) - then the question begs to be asked ... can WE observe BACK?????
Can the watched, once aware of it's subjective partner, observe the observer? Can the alien watch the alien watching the alien?
Can a meeting ground, so to speak, of minds be established? I mean, without going smack dab nuts? Without getting lost in the hallways of the mind or in the corridors of consciousness?
If this were to be the case, that a co-inhabited species were to become aware of an intruder from within, could the species in question 'turn the tables' on the intruder? Or would there be checkpoints and fail safes pre-established to prevent such from happening?
In the event of, oh ... let's say MAN, just for 'fun' ... were man to discover himself inhabited by an alien Watcher ... would there be a psychic trail available for him to follow back to the 'source'?
Hmm ... all sounds kind of familiar, doesn't it?

Paranormal Experiments Update: Incredible Out of Body Experience
Here's one for the books ...
I just woke up a couple of hours ago from the most bizarre lucid dream and possible Out of Body Experience. I want to get this written down while it's still fresh in my mind. It was a convoluted mess, although as you will see, I did manage to maintain a certain degree of lucid awareness.
Inasmuch as this incredible dream involved multiple layers of consciousness, I hope you can follow the gist of what I'll be struggling to describe. There were dreams within dreams, OBEs within OBEs, and I'm not going to bother trying to analyze this one to death.
It can speak for itself~
No hypnogogics, quickly passed into sleep.
Dream:
I am lying in bed, feeling thick and muffled. I awaken to find myself moving out of the bed, covers. The room looks very similar to real life bedroom, but the dimension feels distorted, larger or stretched.
I exit my room and head down the hallway. I'm not sure if it was due to the spatial distortion or what, but it feels like I am still muffled, or moving through cotton candy (NOT the moving through water feeling - I felt absolutely no resistance in anyway). Hard to describe, like I am surrounded by a 'baffling of air'.
I proceed through the house and go on back to my cousin's room, to tell him I am out of my body.
He is aware and remarks on my condition.
With that, and still in my home, I explore a little this new condition and feeling. Very, very odd.
I find myself drawn back to my bed, my body is mounded up under the covers.
Then I awaken (though still dreaming) within my dream.
I move out of my dream bed, thinking I am having another out of body.
Then I realize that no, THIS second OBE is not the same as the first. I am still encased in the body, and everything feels really thick.
I can see my upright body in a sort of 360 fashion. I see what reminds me of baffles of stuffing encased around my arms, in a wrap of sorts. My cousin is now with me, in my room, watching my progress. I am showing him this padding that encases me, and explaining the difference between lucid dreaming and the OBE state.
For some reason, I feel a shadowy unease, or fear, creeping over me. I can't define it any better than that, but I want to head it off/avoid something.
With that, I go back to bed, to sleep (am still dreaming all of this).
I get up a THIRD time and this, I understand, is like the first. I'm free again.
If anything, things feel lighter and smoother.
It is then that I seem to go somewhere, to leave the vicinity of my room or else slip back into a genuine dream state where I have very spotty recollection of events that followed:
'Seems like I was talking with someone, dunno.
The frustrating thing is, the last thing on my mind when I went to sleep was anything even remotely paranormal. I was feeling lazy, grounded, and had not even thought about my (sigh) promise to get back on the bandwagon and resume my paranormal experiments.
And yet ... I can't swear to this ... but I almost do remember something happening or whathaveyou shortly before I went to sleep. Maybe I just buzzed through the hypnogogic state?
Interesting as this was to experience (God, it was so bizarre - and I think I've failed to capture the essential feeling in words - sorry), it just opens up more questions without the satisfaction of having answered any, or achieved any basic knowledge.
I do want to add this, my frustration with the above doesn't stem so much from a right-brain inability to describe the above in left-brain terms, as I was fairly lucid throughout most of it. I think it's the memory lapses that bother me, and that I can't liken it or make the proper comparisons to accurately get the out of body bit across to my readers.
I still say, as I've long insisted, if the 'after life' (so to speak) is anything like the above, we are in for a heck of an adjustment period. We may be like infants, having to learn an entirely new set of skills in order to function with any degree of conscious control in the after life plane of existence.
Oh Boy.

Fourth Dimension - Frictionland
Here's something else I was thinking about just the other day: the value of dimensions, beyond terms of spatial measurement, and what they might represent in terms of energy.
Now, this is just armchair exercise, but if it's true that each dimension is perpendicular to the one which precedes it, then after a point - per the hypercube - successive, higher dimensions must (in a sense) go within, right?
We're all familiar with the onion skin or box within a box analogy, insofar as those examples take us. But in terms of the Tesseract, of course - we are talking about an inner dimension in motion, one in which the outside of the orange, box or onion is as accessible as the inner, without piercing the rind.
Okay, now that aside - let's go back to the starting point (no pun intended) and begin with the first dimension moving outward, from point A to the second point B. Just those two dimensions for the moment, aka Flatland.
So I was thinking about the polarities between the two points (chee, doesn't everyone wonder these things?), and also about the apparent dichotomy that seems inherent in all our experiences as human beings: dark/light, up/down, black/white, good/bad, male/female and so forth. The entire yen yang thing.
This whole dichotomous yen yang thing seemingly produces a great deal of friction, be it on a social or emotional level, or simply as heat generated by the the two opposites coming together. A push me, pull you kinda thing.
Okay then. I think it would be correct to state that (according to this line of thinking) dichotomy is necessary for the production of energy.
As much as man is ever trying to reconcile the two halves of his being, as much as we struggle to find the 'middle ground' in every situation, we are constantly embroiled in an ever-changing balance between the two polarities. Perhaps our struggle is necessary and pre-ordained by a universal need for friction, no matter how large or small the scale?
I dunno.
But anyway. Man is generally considered a 3-dimensional being. His state of existence seems to be that which is resultant and successive to the first two points. Man has exited Flatland, he is now a resident of Frictionland. This is unarguably represented in everything he touches, experiences, thinks, and begets.
We can throw time in with this, or out the window for all I care, because no matter what anyone has to say about time, I think it's a relativistic 'thing' and more of a side effect generated by the experience of 3-D space, if that makes any sense. So I'm not going to do much with time right now. It can sit on the window ledge and gather dust for a while. So let's just dispense with the entire 'Time as a 4th Dimension' song and dance.
Alrighty then. Back to fun times in Frictionland. As previously stated, man's habitation of three dimensional existence - this plane of everything vs everything else, of Point B coming into juxtaposition with Point A resulting in a third movement aka space (or the third coordinate) - can be seen as more than just object dimension.
Philosophically speaking, we certainly seem to be trapped in some kind of yen/yang experience, or two sided object desperately struggling to reach that third point (think of a triangle here). Anyway, inasmuch as I was mulling over the dimension thing in my head, I wondered if there was any escape, besides stasis, from our predicament?
Besides being forever caught between a pendulum swinging first left, then right, then at rest in the center (no friction/energy produced there, I'm afraid), how can we and what would it be like to progress/inhabit a 4th coordinate state of being?
[As an aside - that is one of my biggest gripes regarding Sci/Fi and other speculative fiction. We can imagine/create all day long, until we are bleeding out our ears, beings and worlds and fiction set within an imagined 4-D realm. But, since it is beyond the reach of our 3-D being, all we ever manage to postulate are dilemmas and dichotomies under the fancy label. Same ol', same ol'. No 4-D here folks, nothing to see, move along ...]
So. What would we experience could we move into a fourth state of being? Mind you, I'm certainly no mathematician, and I'm speaking beyond abstract theory or philosophical conundrum. I'm just wondering, is all. What would it be like were man to suddenly 'shift' into a higher coordinate of existence? How would it be to navigate a tesseract? Would our wars come to a halt? Would we still reproduce sexually, and if so, how? What would happen to birth and death? Would we be on a endless Mobius strip kind of ride? Would we meet ourselves, past, future, and otherwise?
What would happen to the yen/yang? I'm really curious about all of this, especially, as I've oft mentioned, when coming across sayings and anecdotes from religious works - such as 'The Kingdom of Heaven lies Within'. (although that could be likened more to a state of stasis than progressive movement)
Furthermore, to climb a really long limb now, - could there exist beings, aliens, creatures, sentience, whathaveyou, whose physiognomy allows them a place in this 4th dimensional state of existence? Theoretically, I would say yes. Would these entities be subject to the rules of thermodynamics/entropy? Would they even be subject to any of the physical laws as we know them?
And again, what would man be like were he to escape friction, stasis and move into a higher factor of being? Can we even reasonably conjecture such a thing?
Well, I wish I had the mental accuem to do more than wonder about these things. Any input, folks?
